Biography* On 25 Jan 2006, Marilyn Fletcher wrote:
     Nancy Bodiford (daughter of Elias T. Bodiford and Mary Elizabeth Culpepper) was my Grandmother. She told my sister and I that her real name was Delizakitura Bodiford. My Dad said their Aunt thought she had such a long name and nicknamed her Nancy. Her Aunt could remember that name. On her death record it has it as Nancy.
     (Regarding the 1900 census entry for) Lana Bodiford. Her name should be Laura. My Dad's Aunt.
     I have a photograph of them when my Grandmother was 12 years old on the porch of their house.4
