Biography* Mary may have been John Culpepper's second wife. If available biographical material on Jonathan Yarbrough and his wife Elizabeth Culpepper is accurate, then Elizabeth was the daughter of John Culpepper and wife Mary, and not the daughter of Agnes. This implies that all the children younger than Elizabeth were also Mary's. Since the exact birth dates of all the children are not known, it is not clear to this writer which of John's children, exactly, might be by which wife. Further research is needed.
