Biography* Mrs. John (Dorothy Culpepper) Wingfield preserved a 25 page typed manuscript "ONE FAMILY - CULPEPPER" written by her grandfather, Rev. George Bright Culpepper, which noted: On November 9, 1897, our second child was born, a son, and to him we gave the name, Caughey Branham, after my brother-in-law (Reverend Henry Caughey Brewton) and the good Doctor Branham who attended my wife. He was as handsome a child as I have ever known. He grew to manhood and married Miss Vesta Willingham, of Atlanta Georgia.... My son and his wife both work. My son is with the Atlanta Freight Bureau; his wife is with the Atlanta Dental College. They are a fine couple. I am writing this in their home, October 5, 1942.
