in the Navy from 1987-1994 and is a Desert Shield/Storm veteran.
Served in the Balkans as KFOR from 2003-2004. As of August 2006,
holds the rank of Sergeant in the Army National Guard in SC in the
1/118th Infantry (M), serving as an infantry Medic. Will be deployed

served in both WW-II and Korea), was a light machine gunner in
the 7th Infantry Division Light, 9th regiment (Manchu Warriors),
Company "B", 3rd Platoon, at Fort Ord, CA. He served from 16 Jun 1987
to 31 May 31 1990, during which time he did a 6-month peacekeeping
mission in Egypt as part of the Multi-National Force of Observers
(awarded the Expert Infantryman Badge); and a 1-month combat tour in
Panama as part of Operation "Just Cause", Dec 1989 - Jan 1990 (awarded

Martin; graduated June 1969. Reenlisted US Army Aug 1970 in Military
Intelligence. Served in Vietnam Oct 1971 – Mar 1973. Released from
active duty May 1973; served in United States Reserve until Mobilized
after 911. Served 12 months under the mobilization Noble Eagle, 5 Jan
2002 thru 5 Jan 2003. Retired from the USAR after 40 years of service
on 19 April 2003. Living in Sewanee, Tennessee after retiring as
Postmaster from the US Postal Service. Recalled to active duty from
the retired rolls Oct 2005 and at present (Nov

the Air Force on 7 Feb 1968. Attended Morse Intercept School
and finished top in the class. Transferred to the Personnel
Career Field because of humanitarian reasons. Stationed at
Keesler AFB MS in 1968-71; Eglin AFB FL in 1971-72; Eielson
AFB AK in 1972-74; Keesler AFB MS as a Military Training
instructor in 1974-78; Cullman AL as a Enlisted Recruiter in 1980-83;
Maxwell AFB AL as Engineer Recruiter in 1983-86, and as Flight
Supervisor for the 3331st Recruiting Sq. Engineering Recruiting Team
in 1983-87; Robins AFB GA as NCOIC CBPO in 1987, 2955th Combat
Logistics Support Squadron Administration Chief and Acting First
Sergeant in 1988-1990, and Deputy Director of Family Support
Center in 1990, serving in numerous positions including
the Battle Staff during the Gulf War. He retired Mar 1993 and

Ryan
Leslie Culpeper, son of Richard Leslie Culpeper,
joined
the Marine Corps in April 2003. Shipped to boot camp in August 2003
and graduated in November 2003. Went to NATTC Pensacola for Survival
Equipment training and graduated in April 2004. Upon graduating from
Pensacola, promoted for being top in the class, both academically and
physically. First command was with Marine Aviation Logistic Squadron
29 at MCAS New River, North Carolina. Worked as a flight Equipment
Technician for a few months until designated as the Squadron Training
Representative. Picked up Corporal in August 2005 and did a Permanent
Change of assignment to Marine Helicopter Light Attack Squadron 269.
