History

In the northwest corner of Arizona, Mohave County was formed in 1864 as one of four original Arizona Counties. Its county seat, Kingman, is on I-40 about 190 miles northwest of Phoenix. Mohave is bordered by the Arizona counties of Coconino, Yavapai and La Paz, as well as by Utah, Nevada and San Bernardino Co., CA.
